something i thought about earlier, is there a way to get my windows to automacticly close when i lock the doors with my keyfob? im always parking up taking my key out of the ignition and forgetting to close the windows. seen it before on a golf. any ideas?

You can do it by using the key but not sure about using remote central locking.
If you have ur windows open put the key in the lock, turn it anticlockwise (I think :!: ) and hold it there. The windows should go up and lock ur doors. You have to keep it turned anticlockwise until the windows r up.
This def works on mine!

Full closure is usually only an option on installed alarms, although you can get 2 to 1 upgrade alarm that have this feature.
ge a good alarm that will do everything. my clifford will do everything you want it 2, the only thing it doesnt do is start the car. but only a matter of time b4 thats installed :) :) :) :)

around how much would it cost for an alarm to close evrythin then? also would it close the sunroof as well or could it only do the windows?
yea, it will close everything. dunno bout the sunroof, heard of a 206 with a clifford that will close the sunroof. mine has full closure anti tilt and jack, proximity sensors. the lot. just want to get a remote start now.

Get yourself a Clifford, best alarm ££ can buy. Even pay it off on installments & they come to you to fit.
What more do u want.

Good, I'm glad it does the same on someone elses car! Nearly went to the car and checked coz I though I might have made it up!! :lol:

i never thought to use the key in the door before i just press the fob all the time :lol:

itz a gr8 little feature! :D have 2 say tho, the "cool" factor will increase when ya get the alarm sorted so it will close them with the key fob 2 8) :wink:

I had to borrow by old man's car for a bit earlier this year! It is so strange having to put the key into the door and turn it! Would that make me lazy?? :roll: :D
I always use the keyfob too as its sets the alarm and duel prox :thumbs:

I read somewhere u have prox senses on ur car now Noonster! My bro had something similar on his motorbike! If any one got too close it was say something like "Step away from the bike!"
He thought it was pretty cool! The voice was like a Robocop wanna be! :lol:

Gonna have to try that ;) Used to do it off like this on my Mums golf gti, and did it on my dads lexus too. Tis quite a good idea.
depends on how much u want it to do. they start from £150. well thats to my knowledge. mine is a concept 600, but with a few bits added onto it. i got it fitted 4 £390. Get one fitted and i will supply u with the flashing clifford badges that work when the system is armed.

Mine just beeps - but it works well.....
You come near the front/back or sides and it will beep - its not really loud but you can hear it :D

It is quite cool! He has a remote to activate it and he can also start his bike from about 20 meters away! Scares the crap outta little kids that are touching his bike!! :lol: :lol:

how much does it cost to get one of those alarms that does everything apart from the cooking & ironing fitted? Cos you can get them types of alarms on ebay for about 120 nicker its just the fitting! :?
Just ring your local dealer in the make of alarm you want, and they'll give you a price. £120's not bad, but you have to spend a couple of hours fitting it yourself, if your up to it!

am just learnin about everythin to do with car's really (never been interested until i could actually LEGALLY drive one1! lol) so i wouldn't have a clue about fitting unless the insturction were made for simpletons like myself! lol

also did ya know that car relocks itself after approx 20 secs if you dontget in after opening with remote
also you can permanently lock boot door if you want so it dunt open even when you use central locking you use the key to lock the boot

How confusing is this feature if you didnt already know about it?? I guess its a safety feature! I first discovered this when I unlocked the car and someone stopped me to give me something! The car locked itself again!! Confused the hell outta me!! :lol:
It's incase you foolishly open the car like you are going to drive it, and then decide not to, and of course don't lock it back up again.
Like who would do that?
I first thought 'Mmmm nice feature if you accidentally press the button to open the car', but it's hard enough to get the damn thing open when you're stood in front of it pressing the button.You'll never get it going off in your pocket! :x

hi all the gsi model ( 5 door) that i have here in South Africa has that function that if any of the windows are open and i lock the car with the remote then all the windows close, :D really cool function. :wave:

Yeah I had that on my old one and am trying to sort it out on my new one, it's great when you forget to wind the windows up :)

I can't really understand why the corsa doesn't close the windows with the key fob if u hold the lock button. We've had 3 Omegas now and they all closed the windows and sunroof (if it had one :wink:) when the lock button on the key fob was pressed. When I got my corsa i tried it and was like wtf? the light on the key fob actually blinks like on the omegas keyfob so it must be possible?
