just got the game yesterday on launch date been playing it all night proper good game compared to the previous Need for speeds drifitng is harder to control this time but overall 9/10
any one else got the game whats ur opinions
i dont have it. will probably buy it for my brother for xmas though.. He's only 10 or 11, will he be able to do it, or is it too hard?

played it for a few hours now it won't load past the splash screen :x
races are easy so far apart from drifting
awesome game i vote it 10/10 well good but hate the crashing me and my mate have had it for 2 days now and its crashed 4 times well annoying :(
on a good note ive got a proper modded camero it goes like sh*t no lies its insane ive put so much top speed on its like a rocket non of my mates can beat it :lol:
Cheers for reminding me gona go and get it now, bought scarface game last week that is pretty good
little note everyone should get this game its so much better than the others and its got kool customization on it as well :thumbs:
inside tip ive heard the new GTA vice city stories is the best GTA game made so far

^^I hated that about the last need for speed
I hope you can buy seperate bumpers and other stuff
its too easy to control but i liking the movie senes.
i rented it yesterday and on 40% and played it 3hours lol
what cars uz got. i went for the muscle car and lowered it to the deck :D

yea you can mate thats in the autostyling part where you can custom your bumpers, skirt, wheels, spoiler etc. or you can buy a overall kit like in the old ones

ive got a camero the one you choose at the start its decked to the floor and its proper stealth lol the handling on the muscle cars aint that bad im impressed thought it be turn yep im off the cliff lol

bought it last nite,but havent had chance to play on it yet! Finish work at 4,and gotta go down to the local cop station then i'll b on it all night! Saw my bros playin on it last nite for like 5 mins,luks awesome

Is this one all in the dark like underground? or can u play in the day time aswell

Need for speed carbon Collectors edition 34.99
any ideas what the difference is, or is it just a case it had different packaging?:?

Ya jokin me!!! *******.....the collectors edition if its da same as on the Xbox has 4 pretuned care,10 extara cars and 6 extra races!!! I looked every where for that for the PS2 and cudnt find it! So thought it was Xbox only

yeha it was on ps2! this was only in GAME though no other shop had it, it may have the same features as xbox with the extras you mentioned as it had a different write up and different pics for it. Get yourself down GAME or something and have a look.

I would say so, judging by past need for speed games the controls are pretty simple and easy to pick up.
it's wicked 9/10 so far i gotit this moring and played for about 4 hours, i'm on 42%, drifting is hard but once you get the hang of it you'll do a enitre curcuit just drifting, i went for tuner the rx-8, now sold it and using the Golf R32 :) decked and tuned, with candy paint thehatches arefar better handling, once you hit tier 2 turbo's top end isn't a problem:)
Bought it but aint at home 2 play it, what are all the cars on it??

nope, no rap sheet etc.. just have to evade if chased, it's all about the tuning and racing
the crashing had best get less frequent. its every 5 seconds for me. really pissing me off. tempted take it back its that bad

I bought it today in Tesco ,havent played it yet, but they forgot to put the ****ing disc in, so i went back and they gave me a £10 voucher for the petrol and hassle- which payed for almost half the game as it was only£24

nope you get chrome paint, candy paint etc.
dunno bout bumpers and crap.

it is too easy really, would be better if it was a bit more challenging
i will prob buy this when i have some spare cash

theres loads a different paint types once u get further into the game (candies and that lot) and theres 4 types for most cars

turned out to be my ps2. absoluty fcuked it is!!! lasers blown up and was causing the screen to crash
good cus iv ordered it and didnt want to have a game that crashes all the time
looks guff like all the other need 4 speeds
i i hate drifting its so hard any one mastered it its not like nfsu1 :( im still using my Rx8 love the game dont wana be too adicted to it and complete even though its good game love the personalised mods only 8% done :D it wud be better if ps3 was out so i can play everyone on here using online play cant be bohtered with PC really

the drifting gets easier the more you play.
cause obviously you get better mods and things to improve the handling.
but for me it gets abit boring after abit, cause its to easy to win a race.
am about 30% away from finishing it.
any one who has a 360 buy import tuner challenge its a great game and is more challenging than nfsc.

very poor game IMO
never played a game with so many bugs before, too easy and gameplay is poor especially having crew members which either win the race for you or get in the way, a waste of £30.

How easy is this game had it since friday and done 90% and not really been trying
yeah i've had it snce saturday and got myself a tuned skyline and 89% complete

Not a bad game . keeps me from being bored !!! Very easy tho
fooking awsome game i think, but NFSU2 beats it,
but then again midnight club 3 beats both of the hands down!!

done all but the drift on the last area still no skyline
on a bright note no crashes
Still cant drift any good they beat me all time
got it on the psp - i like it
skyline is in last area, not sure how exactly i unlocked it..
I completed it last nite, 100%, fully tuned slr mclaren and no money left lol, whole game is easy, but the last boss takes a while to do, there 3 races, then 1 race with boss then the canyon, and bloody long credits!!
yeah and cant skip credits either the *******s.

what a short game finished in a week
drifting is piss easy all you do is nitro it so the bar at the top of the screen goes blue then you get awesome drifts my highest score so far is 120,000 in one combo
downloaded it today, wicked game.. just looking forward to playing it online when i can be bothered

all i can say is WHAT A GAME this is :D bit too easy for my liking though. ive currently got a pretty quick RX8 with Tier 2 Turbo and a bog standard RX7 (65 grand standard :o) atm

Graphics are the same as previous nfs -
Some new features I guess but nothing special.
The muscle cars with huge engines RWD are most fun to drive :D
Bought this last night and had a quick play
The drifting is quite hard to get used to but the rest seems to be like the other NFS series games.
I like the options between Tuner/ Exotic and Muscle.
Started the game with the Camaro as RWD muscle is just so much fun
Think I'll have another go at it tonight.
