Right everyone, the last thread was becoming stupidly long and untidy so we have a new one!
Please refrain from chit chat in here, I know what most people will want to do but can we please let the poll decide that!!
The date will be 3rd December(Sunday).
The most central location has been decided to be Reading.
The meet will be intended as an all-day event so please try and leave the whole day free!
Please vote for what you'd like to do and I think people can make their own minds up on the day if they want to eat together or not. Please also bear in mind that not everyone earns good money and Christmas is fast approaching!

**UPDATE**
After talking to Craig (moorsey) and looking at the previous post and a few comments in here, have decided that the meet will take place on the sunday! Will be an all day event so try and get the day free. We will definately be finishing somewhere to get food, ie pub or nando's. So for those at work in day could always come and meet us there!
Personally think reading is the best location, or somewhere near there. It seems fair as it means most people will have a little bit of traveling, ie those from bournemouth, portsmouth, southampton will have a distance to go as will those from MK and High Wycombe areas. Reading is open to negotiation.
It would be good to get everyone together for the last big meet of the year.
We always seem to get 10+ at say portsmouth/bournemouth and 10+ at MK/high wycombe. So if we could get like 25 together think it would be an awesome meet, and im sure an extra hour or two in the car would be worth it!!

well one is 21 + vat the other is 27. But that way we can go as a big group do it in 2 sessions if we have large numbers, others can watch which is a good laugh in itself, and whoever sets the fastest time overall gets bought a drink by me?
Those that cant afford it, which at present might include me, can just watch, then once finished head for a pub for the rest of the afternoon, get some food, then head home?

Yea the one on the right is at Andover, proven to be a cracking laugh. But expensive.
The Woodley one doesn't look too bad tbh.

I suppose the advantage of doing go-karting and then meal is we can do it if we have 5 or 20 people turn up. Reckon we should be able to get like 20 + people together if people are willing to travel!
Big South Central meets dont happen often, so would be good if everyone made an effort!!

Premier Karting, Reading, RG5 4SZ
Cost will be around 25 quid, which is for half an hour. Will require a 10 quid deposit. Winner is person with the fastest lap, who wins a free drink.
Idea will be to meet around 11, location TBC, catch up etc, convoy to go karting, do that, people can watch if they dont wanna race, and then pub after for a bit of food!
Post up below if you are interested, and when we get a bit more time, me or moorsey will start a new thread with the list of people and confirm how to pay deposit.

yeah i will be phoning up on friday. Trying to keep the costs down as much as we can hence looking at the half hour session. Be will enquire about race formats.
Its a long drive for me too, but will be worth it, becuase should be quite a few people there, and will make a day, so meet, talk car park antics, then go karting and then pub!

It's not that much further than me Coxxy. If you and Neil do go, go through St. Albans and convoy down with Me, Ross, and possibly Graeme and my old mate Shaun if he's going.
slugger book the track or at lease create a new thread showing peeps where it is, what date, time etc so everyone can confirm :) cos there is so many posts its hard to read

all the places near reading have been booked up for weeks cos of xmas party / corporate things.
Found one place near guildofrd but its 6 in the evening
or southampton which is miles for everyone, but 1.15 in afternoon
Other problem is they want payment up front, and at 29 quid thats a lot of money!

well i have just been speaking to mooresey and there is laser quest in reading all karting places are fully booked i am trying my hardest to get karting and have ran out of other options ill try again for reading
