Date: Saturday 13 January 2007
Venue: Millenium Stadium, Cardiff. We will be within the pitch area.
Time: Open from 7:30 onwards
Cost: £10 per car. For this price you can have as many people in the car as it can legally carry. Please contact me with any queries.
Tickets: Advance booking ONLY, please use the below link to get the booking form.
Sponsors: We have a whole host of local and national sponsors who will be displaying show cars at the stadium.
Streetlife TV will be recording Winter DVD footage at this event.
Fast Car Magazine will be in attendance, as will a host of other magazines to cater for all cars.
The Fuel Girls WILL NOT BE THERE
Convoys: There will be convoy holding points scattered along the M4 corridor. These will be at agreed locations within our Traffic Management Plan and will be advertised closer to the date.
World Record: This event will be a world record attempt for the most modified cars inside a football stadium in one go. We are also hoping to compliment this by having all of these cars playing the same tune. We are in talks with a local radio station for their support.
General attractions: SWC will be holding an after show party, so i suggest anyone coming from far away books themselves in to a hotel for the night!
I have now organised the official Corsa-C|UK club stand for this event. It would be great if we could show off loads of the great looking cars from this forum and impress the sponsors of this event! So get your names down on the list!

Just spoken to Fieldy (owner of southwalescruise) and he says he needs to know roughly how many cars will be part of our club stand ASAP to guarantee everyone will get a space.

Could everyone please hold up on the payment also please until tomorrow, i still need to talk to Fieldy about how exactly we're gonna gather the money for the stand (i woke him up on the phone so he was half asleep, lol).
I'll probably get everyone to send me the money so i can sort it to prevent any mistakes in the form resulting in upset on the day.

SWC are planning on an after party, so anyone coming from far away, if you're up for a bit of a celebration that night, i suggest you find a place to stay overnight!

If there aint a convoy, I can meet you mate, I live in beddau so I can meet you in bridgend or somewhere inbetween I dont mind, will be awesome if an all corsa c convoy goes though.

ok well it think i may have paypal sorted now anyway so ill do that later and i just send the copy of the for to that e-mail issit? how do they match ur paypal payment with the form that u send to them?
no idea m8 they might not need to as they'll have you name and address through paypal so they will know where to send you ticket. think the form is so they know what type of cars are comming and if they are going with a car club or SWC.
to be honest think they have cocked up the whole payment bit should have taken the time to set up a simple payment site instead of the confusing form that we got!

My m8's part of ZSOC.com and they had a gd idea of making up stickers for there cars with there usernames, stuck on the front window (only small) gd for identifying members by car.
as for the real names think its gd just to go for the old handshake and introduction
im liking the idea of usernames... im sure we can make something 2 put under the wiper or inside on the dash so people cant swap them lol

Glad you think so :lol: to be fair the photos he takes are stunning has a real eye for it. helps also hes a photoshop master so any images of yourcars with the odd dent come right out.

heres the thing yes its a track day BUT there will also be club stands landow is a big place (apparently), there will also be alot more things happening than was planned for the stadium :D

Ability to watch the Hankook Drift Display Team on the track

Entry into the Meguiars Show and Shine competition
Entry into a competition to win a new Nokia Mobile Phone
The track day will then be followed by a full-on LEGAL car cruise on private land near Porthcawl. This will be held in true SWC fashion and will include lots of modified cars, THE FUEL GIRLS, and a whole host of other attractions.
I reckon that's pretty damn good for a tenner. Isn't as disappointing as i first thought :dance:

We'll all convoy up together as a club, that way we can sort the stand out having every member there at the same time.
I'll definatly be there. My car really isn't modded just lowered with 17"s.
