hi, i wana get rid of my bog standard sub box and build my own too accomodate 2 12 subs, found out what volume needed internally, does the box size need to be spot on for the subs to sound good, is it beeter to make two seperate boxs, or combine it as one?

Depends what you want your install to look like id say two seperate and the reason for this is the boxes will be alot stronger and wont need reinforcing inside with a bigger box you also have more chance of leakage/sagging

o and its easier to get two small bitof mdf right than one massive bit lol
