i htink instead of the Alpine: MRV-F545 Amplifier, you should get my JL one. its actually 7 times better, and cheaper, and includes delivery :P

im hoping all that is running from an alpine source?

Im not getting the 15", im getting the 12" as you can see from my list. The diagram is for illustration purposes only. In the diagram the 1522 will be replaced by the 1222 in my set up

I'll be getting more or less the same set up. When you get it all in let me no how good it sounds. Is the HU worth the amount of money? Or should I save £50 and get the model down from that one.

Yeah I'm going to get this kind of setup methinks, after having some information from everyone it seems the budget I set was far too low. However, I think I'm going to go for an Ipod speedy Headunit like the CDE-9850Ri.

well whats the point buying a good SQ set up, if your only runing from a naff ipod?

whooooooooooop

gains about 1/3 - 1/2. can get more if you want to get it scoped, or sure it wont clip.

x overs personall prefernce. my preference
sub amp @ 70Hz (LPF) comp and 70Hz (HPF)

Thing is i set my gains digitially. It goes from 0.3v up to 4v.

My HU outputs 4v pre-outs so i thought i would set the amp to that, but its really quiet when the HU is turned up and still not very loud at full volume (35/35)

So its currently set at 1.3v and its fairly loud but i still think it could go louder. But i know clipping can occour and dont want this so im a bit stuck really :?
