Well if its Whitley you are coming to I will go scout out an area big enough for us all as on a saturday you aint got a chance of parking on the sea front due to pay and display. There are a few area's near by and a car park futher down towards the golf course that we could all park in. If a warden comes we just get in the cars and drive off :D Can do a canny cruise from one end of the coast to another :) Will try and get a few mates to take video's of us cruising down the front.

Just thinking if you get down the sea front by 10am ish then we should be able to nick the spaces and if a warden pops along then chuck 50p in the meter to cover us for an hour :P

you know if you are driving towards the lighthouse and you hit that 40mph dual carriage way? Its the huge car park on the right before the lighthouse car park. Can't miss it, sort of hidden by hedges but when you drive down from the sealife centre follow the road to the lighthouse and you will come across a carwash place and a pub right next to it, its the carpark on the righ of that :)

It's exactly the same as the Renault Sports Club I was in. North East area was crap and no one did anything or showed up so I travelled down leeds way to meet with those lads.

as turner said i was going to jump in his car as id been on the beer all day yesterday and driving myself was a huge no no. But as there was nobody apart from fox that said they were definatly going we concluded it wasnt worth travelling up there.
Come on chaps lets sort ourselves out get a proper meet organised for some time in the new year.

Dont take it personally mate, ive explained the reason me n turner didnt turn up however i cant speak for everyone, lets just let it go and concentrate on organising summat for the next few weeks.

They won't do you for anything but as that big news story a week or two back of the racing that went on down the sea front the coppers are all over cruisers. They will do the full car checks and dish out producers if they get arsey. If we do a night time meet, carry your insurance docs and both parts of your license then they can't dish a producer to us :)

I would hardly say the North East was **** for meets, there just never organised properly or not enough notice is given.

The 3 which were organised properly had a decent turn out.

The first one i went to was at the Team Valley and i think 10 cars turned out, then the one we drove from the Arnison Centre to South Shields was mint and there was atleast 10 then and the meet down at Stockton had a decent turn out, think there was about 8 cars there.

Well you cant win either way, if you have it on a week night, then people will be at work.

If you have it on a weekend, then people will be at work aswell.

Plus every time a location is suggested, everyone moans and says its too far from them, what ever happens, certain people arent going to go as its over 2 miles away from where they live. :roll:

its a differant place mate but it isnt far, or the place you met us last time could be an option. either way lets just start to organise summat for a few weeks time so everyone has plenty of notice and can make alternative work arrangements if they need to

Last time we went to Dragonville.

Arnison centre is basically down the A1, off at the turn off for chester le street and follow the dual carriage way for a couple of miles then you end up there ;)
