well i forgot what i was going to PM now. along the lines of THANKS i believe :P

when you connect the loom to the new hu with a new adaptor (iso or canbus) it will all work out right, thats what the adaptor is for. all though ifs its ISO, youll need to swap perminant live (red wire) with the ignition live (yellow wire) and cut the grey n red wire to display date on MFD

you mean replace red or yellow with the new lead? if you replace yellow, you will have to turn in on and off your self, instead of it turning on and off with the car

Cleario

yeah im gonna give it a go... but when i pull the face off does it not go off then? or would i need to out an inline switch?

Martin

yeah when you pull the face off it will turn off. i just mean when you turn your car on in the morning youll need to turn the stereo on, and when you turn it off, if you forget to turn hu off, it will play all night...

...however, i guess thats no prob if you remove you fascia

no probs. you wont need an inline fuse as i have mentioned in the stick as your not adding a new supply, simply "upgrading" an old suply

have fun
