Whining Noise through stereo

I was listening to my stereo the other day and noticed a whining noise which changes with the engine revs - this comes out of all my speakers and my sub.

Anyone have any ideas?

it's not the rca's... maybe ground??

Yeah, what you are hearing is alternator interferance.

Means you need a better ground mate, or if not a loop isolator.

Try a better hearth from HU first, use a thicker wire and take it to chassis instead of back to battery negative

i had that in my car and if changing th earth doesnt work make sure you haven't got any extra cable tucked in any where cause that was my problem the excess cable was touching and ignition wire

urgh, nasty. you can check leads are away from all pwoer cable too
