View Full Version : dipped beam
left dipped beam has totally stopped working, where do i get replacements and how much?

also, ill probably change sidelights aswell cause they are yellow at mo so how much for them?
finally, does bumper need to be taken off for replacing these bulbs, if so, which size spanners are needed?

has ur bulb gone, or something else. If its the bulb just buy a replacement set halfords if needed quick or search on here for info on top quality bulbs.
from ur avatar uv got a facelift model so u will have to drop the bumper (not remove) there is a tutorial in the lectrics section.
Cost depends on bulb quality, iv got philips blue vision side bulbs, which are quality as for dipped beam, try philips or osram.
hope that helps :doublethumbs:

You want to get:
Side lights: W5W or 501 fitment
Dipped beam: H7 fitment
I recomend these for dipped beam: http://www.redgriffin.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=OCBH7&cat=63
And these for side light: http://www.redgriffin.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=PBVW5W&cat=65
its personal choice, if u want to go all out get a HID conversion kit for the dipped beam. ;)
PM me if u want details but ur looking at between £80-100 of ebay.
