Hey chaps and chappettes,
I've bought a set of angel eye replacement headlights for my motor. Each halo ring has a positive and negative coming off it. Where should I wire these to? Obviously the negatives go to ground but the positives?
Cheers in advance,
Dan :)
there is a white lead connecting from the main plug to the side light.
Disconnect this.
At the bottom of the headlight there is 2 holes with a red (positive) and black (negative) wires coming out.
connect the2 red wires to the white wire connected to the plug.
Connect the 2 black wires to a screw near the side light for earthing.
There is one red and one black wire left at the top of the light.
I did not connect these.

Thanks for the reply mate.
What are the two wires left over actually meant for then?

ITs for the lil led at the top.
It just ruins the look in my opinion.

OK cheers for the advice
Is it true I will have to remove the front bumper in order to fit the lights?

Yup
Hard to do chap?
its kinda simple.
undo 2 torx screws and 2 nuts on each side and the 3 nuts under the bonnet.
once you have done this carfully pull out the arches so that it is loosly out.
Bumper should then bend outwards.

OK well I've finally got around to doing them lol as I'm mainly at uni, but there's a nut on each side in each arch that is so difficult to get to. So I'll have to take the wheels off to get in?
just turn the wheel inwards for each side

OK so today I turned the wheel fully inwards and it's just so awkward to get in there and undo the nut holding the trim :(
Any tips are greatfully appreciated as this is really pi$$ing me off and so looking forward to fitting the lights

get a 10mm spanner mate
turn the wheel on the offending side so its on full lock OUTWARDS then get the spanner in and sort of hold it straight and get it on the nut and turn
hard to do but will work in the end

k mate I'll keep at it :) Any reason the wheel should be turned outwards as surely it will make it more awkward to get at the nut?

wasnt for me as the spanner kept hitting the tyre the other way
on my angel eyes, there is no sidelights (as the wires were changed, as to get the rings (eyes) working), this will fail MOT apparentely?

the angel eyes are your sidelights
angels are your side lights.
I dont think the MOT check you side lights either.
