Ok, some of you may have seen my last thread regarding the cigarette lighter socket not working at all. I have now deleted this as i have an update on the situation and didn't want to be accused of spamming etc.
UPDATE
I lifted the bonnet and went to check the fuse for the cigarette lighter socket circuit, but could not find the fuse required. My car is a pre-facelift 2002 'Club' and has the 'fuse key illustration' printed on the back of the lid. It indicates that fuse 26, which is the fuse for the cig lighter socket (i think) is somewhere near the big 20amp fuse at the bottom - but no 'fuse 26' is there and there isn't even a fuse holder where it says there should be one.
Can anybody help at all? Pictures would be a great help from somebody who has previously replaced a blown cig lighter socket fuse.
Cheers guys
Ed
P.S. Just checked the sticky thread and it says '26' is for several things. I was under the impression that each circuit had its own fuse, but does this mean the large 20amp fuse at the bottom covers all the ones mentioned on the sticky thread under '26'?
Thanks
