Will you be fitting Headlight washers to the car aswell, coz i think its illegal to have HIDs without these washers.

I may be wrong mind.

there is a thread on this in the elctrical section:

http://www.corsa-c.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=65360.

Only factory fitted HID's need washers and auto levelling. But aftermarket dont need any of these as long as the levelling is correct.

I hope.

SXI007, do you know where abouts the adjustment screw is? Also can this be adjusted without dropping the bumper?

Cheers

Hey dude,

There is 2 things.

There is the metal bottle cap thing at the top that you can use to adjust up and down, i used a flat head screw driver to forceit to rotate once they were fitted.

At the centre of the lights there is a metal pole sticking out. This is used to adjust the light left and right, But the problem with this one is that the bumper will need to be taken off for this to happen.

just fixed mines today and added some new bulbs. miles better but nowhere near as good as standard lights. I just used a philips head screw driver on the bottle cap thing 007 mentioned above. it takes around one full rev for it to move down about 5mil. its just trial and error. I spent all last night moving them up and down, but finally set them to a decent level today! Good luck with yours!

Good luck if you take it to the MOT station.

I took mine to mine and they refused to sort mine out as they would have had to take the head lights of the car adjust - fit then test the light beam over and over again until correct.

Hi guys,

I nicked this picture from the tutorial for the HIDs.

Should this HID light pattern be exactly the same for the normal bulbs in angels.

Coz i currently have to kickups on the left rather than the one on the picture below.

Daz_sxi works at a garage with MOt station. so might see what he can do. hes offered to give me a hand at the garage for fitting, might take a sat off and take him up on the offer.

im still trying to find a wall i can work near so i can mark up the original position and just realign to them. Bloody hills every where.
