Hi Does the corsa have an onboard computer? If so, I have the HID lights without the adaptor to correct ecu problems, do I need this?

The Corsa does have an onboard computer but it is very basic. It doesn't care about your headlights so you won't need to worry about ECU problems with the HIDs. Just make sure you get the harness fitted to avoid having powering issues with the HIDs through the standard cabling.

actually if it is a later one IT WILL CARE!

there is a setting in the BCM for HID lighting. this removes the test pulse that the BCM puts out to check the lights.

I thought that setting only applied to Opel branded Corsas as HIDs are optional extras for Opel but Vauxhall decided we Brits aren't worthy for HIDs... would be nice to know what my dealer would say about that when I ask them on my next visit :D

There are no issues with HIDs on Corsas.
