how many subs

is it possible to fit 4 12" subs 3 amps 2 power caps in the boot of a c in a cutom build need the rear seats still so carnt do away with them

with out a tow bar might be a problem!!! ppl have custom builds in there c's and i fancied this as a set up

iv got 3 tens in mine but there in the box they came in

suppose it be possible but then may mean small boxes and not gettin the best out of your subs

i want jl audio 12" subs the guy at theshop says each sub is as power ful as 2 subs due to an extra coil i think he said. i want bass so that wen your in the car its hard to breathe in the back and i want it to sound good when boot is open wen playing at cruises. martin wots sq and spl??? have you got design ideas for me??

sq is sound squality (how good it sounds) spl is the sound pressure level (i thinks) how much air is being moved around the car

i'v got MTX amp and 12" Sledgehammer sub and it sound better that some cars i'v seen that have 3 subs in the boot! i would deffo recomend it went for a full MTX system and it sounds amazing!

i turn it up full and you can feel the air move inside the car! it sounds **** hot with the boot open as well

mate more subs doesnt really mean more bass.....i would say save your money and just get one sub which will blow you head off...instead of four that wont even come close. depends really how much is your budget?

wtf? i wouldnt trust this guy with 10p.

the extra voice coil gives you a variety of wiring combinations. so, a single 4ohm voice coil will put a 4 ohm load on the amp, where as a 2ohm dual voice coil sub can put a 1ohm load on the amp, which is effectivle handling 4 times more power.

if you want MASSIVE spl, id just throw all my money into one sub in a huge ported box witha killer amp.

Why??a corsa boot looks overcrowded with 2 10's in it.... even my one 12 looks huuge in there!!

for a start if ya stick 4 in the boot ya wont get the best performance out the subs and it will look too much... also how the hell ya gona fit amps... 4 subs(boxed) in the small boot of a corsa C???

Jameshs_SRI isnt saying they'll fit. You never mentioned fitting, you were saying "whats the point in 4 subs". I think he's referring to these comments:

the point of 4 subs is more surface area can equal higher SPL.

ive got 2 12'' in mine and the bass is amazing! i have alot of rattles tho lol

my boot is very full compared to SRi Ryan who also has 2 12'' in his, but im having some teething problems with mine lol
