Jelly Battery??

just had a new sound system put in the car and i was advised to get a jelly battery by the guys that installed it, cos off the power that the amp is drawing.

i got quoted £180 buy the guys that fitted it, was wondering if anyone knos if ths is an alright price or if you can get it cheaper?? or is there other options??

seems alot for battery, just get a dry cell, unless you have a massive system its pointless.

well what size battery? a deep cycle, a starter, a marine, a diesel one...

well its just the standard vauchall battery thats in it and i was advied to get a jelly battery at a later date! its Its an MTX 6004 Amp and a 12" sledgehammer cub so its drawing a **** load off power from the battery was just wondering what ma options were??

you have a 4 channel amp powering one sub?

thats nothing mate. you wont need an uprated battery :thumbs:
