Is it possible?

i recently let a shop fit some comps in the door cards, but now i dont like them, is there a way of putting co-ax back as i believe the cut the wires for it to be connected to the crossovers

i dont want no crossovers, just standard 3 ways co-ax and the tweeters

you want three way coaxils AND tweeters?

so your wana loose the mid, and replace it with a coaxil? Well the cross over will cut out most of the frequencies to the coaxil so its prettym uch pointless swapping them over...

Yea it is (his new mixtapes big)

the reason for the swap is because i feel my previous co-ax were much better

just a matter of opinion

back to your question. yes it is possible. but youll have to see if theres a cross over / filter, in line anywhere otherwise your coaxils will be limited to certain freqs

What components do you have fitted and what coaxials do you plan to go back to?

You're joking right  I loved my type S's when I used to have a Clio!

How do you find them, too harsh perhaps?

Harsh? Its not even the word i'm looking for

its more like quiet and less clarity in them

could be the way you have them set up, do you have them amped or running off standard head unit?

agreed. look in the cross over, maybe a -/+2dB switch

Yup sounds like a setup issue to me, mine were crisp and as clear as daylight.
