Hey All!!! :P

Looking for some advice and links or references to certain products!!

:dontknow:

Firstly i want a decent head unit preferably Alpine and with a blue display ( display not 100% needed ) I would like this to have sufficient power to significantly increase the loudness of the original sound system and efficiently power some new components ( see pt.2) ;)

Secondly i am lookin for some upfront door speakers as recommended by Martin as 6x9s clash with subwoofers! Again could i have a link to a site that has some high quality components that will fit in the doors of a VTR, as loud and high quality as possible without breaking the bank £200 max please guys!

And Finally:

A very very very loud sub and amp which emits large amounts of bass, not neccisarily a package deal, but im on a budget and would prefer something under £250.

If youve managed to stay awake for all of that thanks and i hope to hear from you soon!!!!!

Cheers guys :doublethumbs:

Tom

Firstly, no headunit will sufficiently power some components. :)

Secondly, I recommend the Alpine 9812RB here: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-cda9812rb-p-2193.html?cadid=85eb75fbb041416677af1cfb824a9335

Next, for components not sure what size you require but probably 6.5", have a look here:

And finally, for that budget (sub and amp) it would be best to go second hand so have you looked on ebay or in the classifieds? Definitely sounds like you'll require the sub in a ported enclosure aswel to boost loudness and depth. :)

if by vtr you mean saxo vtr then its 13cm/5.25" speakers the size you need.

You can get a HELL OF A LOT louder, more accurate bass for £250 than mutant and boss. Two 12 inch subs is double the cone area of just one, but you'd need double the power aswel which is more £££. It would be louder and bassier but you'd need a big boot to port two 12 inch subs, and one sub could actually be louder/bassier if it was ported than if two were sealed. All depends what kit you have in mind :)

Well in my younger days I ran 6x9s and sub(s) without any problems whatsoever. Those Vibe subs are definitely loud for the money 8)
