want a nice setup that isnt gonna break the bank. i want the Alpine: CDA-9855R (http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/3902.html) with the ipod adapter and alipne SPR-17S - 16.5cm components (http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/5769.html)(will these fit straight in the door with no modifications?) . will the head unit be powerful enough to power them components or should i buy an amp to power them? if so what amp?

also can anyone reccomend a sub + an amp to power the sub.

if i need a amp to power they components, should i get 2 amp's, 1 for the components and 1 for the sub, or get one beefy amp to power the sub and components?

thanks people

that hu will power those comps, although obv a big amp to power them will sound better.

When buying a 4channel amp, it usually puts out all 4 channels the same, so even when bridging two channels to run a sub, you’ll still either need a relatively lower powered sub, or relatively high powered comps…

If you aint got much for ice, just keep fronts running from headunit, and buy a small sub/amp package. Look cat Caraudiodirect.com and caraudiosecurit.com for good deals and good service etc.

Regarding the fitting of the 6.5” speakers, an adaptor is needed to fit them into the corsa front doors. This is £13 iirc from caraudiodirect.

but need to know budget really

i suppose i could just about push to £1k, i'd prefer to spend about £750 really, cheer's

EDIT: looked on Caraudiodirect.com and the speaker adaptors say there for a 2006 onwards corsa? is this a mistake? will they fit in my 2002 prefacelift corsa?

thanks
