CD wiring adaptor

Hi i have removed my factory cd player and bought a new jvc one and have been told to order an adaptor in that will fit over my one built into my car because the adaptor is a new one and was wondering if anyone else had to do this and how

You should only need an adapter if....

1. You want to keep you steering controls, roughly 29.99 (autoleads x06 vauxhall multistalk adapter) and a jvc patch lead about 7.99.

2. You have quadlock, yes great design, nutache to wire in properly and unless you get a manufacturer specific multistalk AND quadlock adapter you aren't going to get steering wheel remote.
