Don't go mate. Told me it would be £80 + vat to dyno my car and set up my tuning box.

Quoted £300 for a map and £400 for a performance chip. A19 is the best place to go not sure on the price.

Hi This is my first post in the regional section, please don't get upset but im not a C owner but i do have a D, what i was wondering is does anyone know what kind of gain i would get from my 1.3 CDTI (currently 90bhp) ive been interested in a remap for a while but am unsure if its worth the cost.

You would get a 20BHP gain from a map but I would strongly recoment you get the DTUK tuning box as Vaux could reset you ECU during a service and your map would be gone.

Ive looked at getting a tuning box already but am not sure i like the way they work (tricking sensors) I just feel like something is waiting to go wrong with it

Mine has been on for over a year and its never been a problem, it doesn't fool the sensors it intercepts the message from the ECU and adds a larger fuel air mix meaning better performance and fuel economy.

1: Tuning box can be easily removed fro servicing and warranty work (i recommend changing the air filter) and can be adjusted.

2: A map gives the same effect, but can be removed by vaux when servicing

3: Super chip same as above, cant be easily removed and could invalidate you warranty.
