im in love....

the most impressive thing is the handling, its definatley the best handling car i have ever driven by far, feels like its on rails no body roll, you turn the wheels and no slide or delay.
i new from review that handling was meant to be very good but stil took me by surpise.
ride is very hard though.. harder than the corsa il be glad to get rid of the runflats
i was going to buy the work perfoamnce kit and fit it as soon as i got it, but i think its already quick enough. much more power thann i thought it was going to have, going to leave the works kite a few months.
fuel consumption is as you would expect

instead ive ordered up some gunmetal 18s and eibachs

any comments welcome. im not too keen on the viperstirpes on the back, thinkg im going to get rid of those what do u think?

I test drove one of these today, 170BHP :O

Handles so well, I know what you mean. I was well impressed.
It flew as well, got told off for doin 70 in a 30 but I really hadn't done anything to get it that fast. Only thing I didnt like was the size of the windscreen, felt a bit small.

They are amazing when it comes to handling! I drove my folks MINI Cooper for a few weeks and i loved it....well eerythjing but the seats coz they were not sport!!!

yeh it was 21k new...
year and half old 9k miles

i think the owner was on pills far cheaper than any other mini was found
it has nearly full spec i was happy with the basic spec my i was told they are very hard to sell

run flats are so hard mate and dont grip to well beacause the dont crease like normal tyres.

i have just booked the car in next month for the 220bhp upgrade
chip and pulley mod and increase of 50bhp!

the bloke took me on an m60 sliproad whcih was a sharp corner at 100mph and the car didnt even flinch

yes they are very fast... even stnadard and extremely easy to tune. 500 quid buys you 40bhp

all the parts i have bought are from the below car. he was selling the jcw exhaust which i bought and the coilovers, i was locuky enogh to get ago in his mini last week.. its running 270bhp at the moment
he has spent alot to get it to that but the results are so great because it handles so well

Mate you can have the speedo on the rev counter on any mini. If you look closely there is a little screen in the tacho, you can swtich between: Average Speed, Speed, Range, Avg Consumption and consumption. I never use the speedo in the middle unless its cruising on the motorway which I then change the tacho screen to read MPG as when you have got the cruise control going you dont have to worry about speed.

Lol have you? I reset my avergae mpg reader today and its reading 36mpg which is from motorway, round town and a/b roads
