head unit probelm

Hi all. I had an sxi and now got a new sri :) I had my alpine head unit in the old one (didn't change the red and yellow wires round-problem).

Hav done this time round (on the aftermarket loom from vauxhall) but im not getting any sound - a signal is coming thru wen the volume is up high, but its just crackles!?

Can any1 spell it out to me, exactly what do i need to do with the wiring? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Put both RED and YELLOW wires on the alpine loom together, and then join them to another wire with a 15amp fuse in going straight to the batt. :thumbs:

sounds like a faulty loom 2bh, my alpine head unit is fine!
