just wired up my amp and it aint working everything is connected and i made sure i connected the earth first ne ideas why? does the remote cable have to be connected for it to work? didnt have time to do it as it was going dark.

Yes u must connect the remote cable....it is the cable that tells the amp when to turn on and off depending on whether your headunit is on. once youve connected that it should all work fine!
