Here lads i have an mot on monday comming. Does anyone know if they will fail you for 17" alloys?? Do ya have to put the standard wheels back on?? Most things for the MOT are different in England so i just posted it here.

youll pass no problem, as long as the wheels havnt damaged the arches of the car. but theyll not even look at them mate

yeh mate they'll pass ok, mines pass last year with them on,only failed on emissions :@my car is up for mot next wednesday too!

As long as the tyres aren't scrubbed to feck and the alloy isn't fouling on anything, you will pass.

oh aye how long should a clutch last for. I think mine is gonna go some time soon.

mine was replaced at 25k!!! disaster! a friend had hers done at 29K!

fire it into 5 gear and floor it, if the revs climb faster than the speedo, clutch is on its way out!!

i have tinted side repeaters and rear lights... Will they pass...

need new back box exhaust i know that for defo.. have to get her into my local garage to get it serviced and check bushion's etc...

ive heard some people have passed with tinted repeaters and some havent depends what fella you get really, mine past Mot just before our mag meet had 17's on np mate:doublethumbs:

lol.. its a joke what we have to do to pass a stupid test... my car is very safe and has to be looked after by my mate which is a top mechanic... he checqs everythin better than the bloody MOT they just wreck a car..

yeah sure there e marked ... well mine are anyway, so rimstyle says anyway... they cant fail you on them.. did you get facelifts and tint them or did you buy tinted lights?

my mate knows a guy in belfast who will MOT a car thats on fire if you give him £100!
it's a useful contact tho for when i need to mot mine! saves me taking stuff off!

my front bumper front side widows are coming of as they are tinted so got 1s frm scrap yard lol
also angel eyes mit b cumin out as out on alignment abit n dont no if can b fixed. i no there is and adjustment but it onli moves up and down i fink
