DVD-Player resets memory! **HELP**

hey guys,

my pioneer avh-p5700 reset its memory everytime i take the keys out of the ignition! any ideas why???? would i need a new wiring for it or is it something fixable??

well when this happens in a corsa, its coz the red n yellow (perminant nad igntion live) are the wrong way around...

..maybe the same thing :shrug:

yea put a yellow with a red n a red with a yellow and tht'll keep the memory :)

or run both yellow and red from a perminant (fused) supply

have another question though!

the cd player(pioneer) in my folks car is acting up! the screen doesnt show up whenever i turn the player on! u have apply pressure to the face so for it to come on?

does this mean that the player is on its way out or is it a matter of cleaning the contacts?

it is yellow-yellow & red-red and not red-yellow, yellow-red! :)

yer it says in FAQ its only corsa it needs to be swapped in:
