well you all know the clock/temp gauge/ date etc bit
how many leds are needed for behind there? i cant find any guides for it wich is strange ive searched for a good 15 mins now lol
you cant just use standard leds mate, get a set off the trader on here, and ask for a full set with a couple spares for free.

On the MFD clock thingy, there's 3 led's that sit in the back, but also an orange diffuser plate, to spread the light evenly around the display. You can get frosted bulbs, but they're not as goodd as the diffuser plate, give 3 spots on the surface.
I have a bit of tuperware (frosted) with a section of white plastic bag stuck to it to create a white diffuser plate.
Seems to work ok!?
i thought there was 2 in MFD

theres a difuser on the facelift ones, just take it out and itll make the leds brighter. but then u need to use a bit of sandpaper on the new leds so that you wont have the bright spots on the mfd

how do you get the clock out to replace the bulbs?
how do you get the clock out to replace the bulbs?
3 screws at bottom of dash. remove storage tray on right. This then drops down
1 screw underneath steering column cover, this pulls out
2 screws for dome inner surround. Thats a bit of a pain to get out from there
2 screws holding in dials then just unclip at top
