right this is what ive worked out ano im wrong but i did guess

- Dials: need 4 white leds
- Steering wheel switches: 2 blue leds - includes both left side and right
- Window switches: 2 blue leds - includes both drivers side and passenger side
- Cigarette lighter: 1 blue led
- Dash Buttons (heater control area): 3 blue leds
- Light settings (right side of steering wheel): 2 blue leds
- Dash screen: 1 blue led

all these leds im hoping cover everything i need in the interior so how far off am i can someone help me out here to get the correct amount to order please.

- Dials: need 4 white leds yep
- Steering wheel switches: 2 blue leds - includes both left side and right dunno
- Window switches: 2 blue leds - includes both drivers side and passenger side needs 3 and 1 resistor. 2 for the drivers, 1 for the passenger with the resistor
- Cigarette lighter: 1 blue led think so
- Dash Buttons (heater control area): 3 blue leds yep, but the not twistlock or standard led, dunno what there called
- Light settings (right side of steering wheel): 2 blue leds one 3mm led and resistor, 1 twist lock 509t led
- Dash screen: 1 blue led (mfd?) if so then 2 if ur car is prefacelift and 3 if its facelift

Hello mate, got your pm but im not going to be much help im afraid as i just did the lazy option, i just bought all my blue switches etc. already converted from the bay.
Cant help you with electric windows, steering controls, or headlight switchs

This is what i do know probably already posted by samisnake above -

MFD: 2 leds (prefacelfit) or 3 leds facelift (5mm TWIST and LOCK bulbs)
http://dashlights.co.uk/cart.php?target=category&category_id=278
http://www.ultimatemods.co.uk/ebay/bulb_img.gif

Dials: Same twist and lock as above.

Heater bulbs: These are 286 LEDs that you need. I had a problem with mine and had to buy 286 blue bulbs
http://dashlights.co.uk/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16399&category_id=281
http://dashlights.co.uk/images/286nt.jpg

Ciggy ligher: Same 286 led bulb as the heater controls.

tbh i think you should first buy the kit from ebay from crazyleds, then thatll get most of the leds out the way, then you can do the annoying leds like the window switches. the steering controls are hard to change, i broke my old ones trying to figure out how to open them

He wants different colours though.

Best to email crazy here - CRAZYLEDS@aol.com and ask whether he can put your order together

dunno if this'll get looked at now but is it possible to change the LEDs in the steering controls, window switches and light switch unit?? I got into my steering controls and they look impossible to change because i think they're soldered into the PCB... is this true?? As for the light switch, managed to cut my hands several times tranna get the f***ing thing out! the clips at the sides... just can't undo them.

heater controls real easy, just get a small screwdriver and ease off the front panel, take off the control knobs, take out the diffuser (white piece of plastic) and you'll see the bulbs. Take out and replace with 5mm wedge bulbs/LEDs. The MFD is fairly easy, put in a small screwdriver between the hazard light switch and the air vent, lever out the vent and then do the same on the other side. When both are out, you'll see some torx screws (t20 I think). Undo these and then you should be able to take out the panel, but you can't disconnect the hazard light so just rest it on the dash. Helps to grip the panel at the back and lift up as you pull forward, it will come out eventually. Now you should see the MFD on its own attached by two more t20s. Undo these and the MFD and dome will lift out of place, you can disconnect it by flipping the lock out. This will leave you with the dome and MFD in your hand and if you've done the speedo bulbs this bit should be pretty self explanatory. Note that these bulbs are 2.0W twistlocks instead of 1.5s in the speedo.

If you're replacing with a different colour here you'll need to take the MFD itself apart and find the diffuser (orange piece of plastic) which is directly behind the LCD display. Take this out and if possible replace with a colourless substitute, otherwise just put the MFD back together without. You should find the bulbs shine throught the right colour.

As i said above, the switches I still cant remove so help on this would be great! (sorry for the essay lol) hope it helps sam!

little 289 bulbs i think they are, the LED types. Bend the wires over on opposites sides so there's only one wire on each side and poke it in making sure it makes a good contact. Job done, bob's your mothers' brother :doublethumbs:

omg I just read it said Heated Seat! Woops!

They could be soldered in like the Passenger Switch in that case - that's my next mod to my car - changing those little switch lights from orange to white.

Best bet is to crack it open and have a look.

You want a 509T Holder or Bulb. If in doubt I could POSSIBLY know a way to make a set up.

If there's a link on ebay then go for it. You need 3 for your dials, 1 for your odometer, 2 for your MFD and 2 286's for your heater panel.

I was running some figures over and it'd cost about a tenner to make a set up custom and fitting would need to be carefully orchestrated.

I think the odometer one it slightly different to the main dial 3. the actual bulb is slightly smaller in height IIRC. You'd better ask Az though.

Nah, Odometers need to have a frosted, scratched or tip-exed end to spread the light more ;)
