Toad ai606 dashboard yellow car with spanner

Hi I have had a toad ai606 installed by a professional installer. My problem is on the dashboard I now have the yellow car with spanner lit up. Does anyone know what this could be? I don't need a service or anything as of yet. How do I get it reset?

if it is the service then just reset it lol

ign. off and press trip reset button(and hold)
ign. pos. 2 and wait about 10 seconds should start to flash
after 3 flashes start car and release button:)

Hi I have tried that but doesn't work. Still lights up. It only lit up since I had the alarm fitted. What do I do? Can a non vauxhall garage reset the light and fix the problem?

id take it back to the place that fitted the alarm then!

yeah most people can reset it with simple snap on tool:)

sounds like the alarm has caused a fault which is why the spanner is lit up.

could try disconnecting the battery for a while which will clear any fault codes however if it comes back on then there could be something up.

might be concidence it's lit up after the having the alarm installed but i'd contact whoever put it in first before getting it checked at a garage.

id leave the battery alone incase theres something to do with the alarm

if i work on a car with an after market alarm on it i dont touch anything 2 do with it!

we have a guy who had a 740 V6 come to us an he has a toad on it and 1 of the tech's done something and it wouldnt start, they had to come out to us to play with it:dontknow:
