Hi I'm after a ecu replacement for my corsa 1.0 comfort. I have found a second hand one. Would the second hand one work ok straight out? Do you have to program it with tech 2? Came from the same model car.

u will need transponder and chip frm the ecu ur buying. cos it wont work without it..ur current setup will send the wrong signals to the immobliser. it may fire but not for long if at all!

yes i have seen that post on ebay, how do I know if its damaged and where do I get it fitted? It may contain the cars mileage on it. It will need programming?

looking again i think thats for a x10xe. so probs wont work!
contact some brokers :) like the one i have linked you to :)

any garage can fit an ecu. its just a bolt on job

mileage is irrelevant! if u get ecu, chip and transponder it will work fine!

if not its a bit more of a hassle but still do-able

hi again, If I can get all three of the things, will a normal garage fit it ok? Not vauxhall.

Thanks Wendy
