Now ive got the head unit in, im looking for a sub and amp, i dont have masses of money but seen these two on ebay which one should i go for? And can anyone tell me about power caps, as to what they do?

Sony i'd say although the amp on the JBL ent bad.

Do not get the sony, nearly all of their car audio is crap. 1300 watts :lol: :lol: :lol: yer right

If it has to be one of those kits then get the JBL kit

Ohh, definately the JBL. This will not disappoint ya. I had the JBL 1202D hooked up to my JBL 75.4 Amp (great for powering 2 subs or 1 sub 2 components). If you could change the box to a ported one - after you buy it probably - you'll freggin love it!

On another note, the amp/sub package you've picked will underpower the sub. Try this package -

Its about 30 quid more than your paying, but it's got the wiring kit, the same sub and probably the same box. However, its got a slightly more powerful (JBL again) amp. Can't go wrong really. :-)
