Hi guys , was hoping someone might know the solution to my problem . My corsa standard head unit does not seem to work and is displaying ' PANEL ' in the center console . Can anyone help

Then google search gendan automotive, they sell fault code reading devices for 59.99 delivered, hey presto you don't have to pay vauxhall.
Try holding presets 4 + 6 when its on and see if anything happens! (if not try 3 + 5)
I seem to remember this doing something to fix a problem along those lines.

you could allways buy a new headunit mate not a standared one :)

is it a cd 2005 or cd 30?
The stereo is not seeing the removable panel, you may have broken a pin when it was removed or in your pocket, check the pins on the back of the panel are intact or something is stuck on them preventing a contact.

in the top post he says its the standard hu tho
Sorry, I did spot that but assumed the they all came with the removable panel otherwise why would it say panel? mine says exactly the same thing when I don't fit the panel and try to turn it on.
