stereo adapter not fitting properly

hey all, i bought a (non autoleads) stereo adapter off the bay, fitted it and it doesn't fit properly. It holds the stereo in alright, but theres a gap where it doesn't fit against the heater controls (see pic). Will an autoleads one be a better fit? Cheers.

bought an autoleads one, fits sooo much better. none of the cheap stuff 4 me anymore...

yea i braught one of ebay, and it was for a zaffia or what ever there called, even though the bloke ashures me its for a corsa, i had to go to halfords and buy another one
