Hi all you good and helpful people, 1 of the blue led bulbs that i put in the mfd display had stopped working the other day so i sorted it out but I had to replace it in the end as the connection bit broke, luckly i had a spare. But now that it all works the led's aint that bright(can't see jack all unless you put your eyes right up to it). Has any1 els had thid problem, if so wot makes it work better.
have you fiddled with the adjustor knob by the light switch? turning that up or down changes the brightness of all cockpit bulbs.
yeah i would do what martin says, ive previously thought i had broke the dash in my company motor before i realised it had an adjustor too!

what year is your corsa?
on facelift corsas that use 3 leds in the mfd have a difuser which takes away the brightness. remove this

My corsa is a y reg (2001) it only has 2 led's in the mfd, the leds were bright when I 1st fit them but 1 got loose so i had to sort it out, when i was fiddling about with it the led broke but i had a spare 1 and then thats when it became less bright. I'll try sorting it out again tommorow.

are you sure its on at all and you dont need to turn the busted led 180 degrees to get it to work?

I think i'm just gona have a fiddle around with it, I've also noticed that after the display goes off and the car doors are locked the light behind the display still stays lit. Never done this b4.

Right, I've just done mine; you get right inside the MFD unit & remove the bit of orange plastic from behind the screen itself, cut a piece of copier paper to fit, slot it in & tippex the tips of the LEDs while you're there
