i just fitted a new sub, was working fine untill i went to uni and it jus stopped workin, theres power goin to the amp so its not that, but theres jus nothing on the sub, ne ideas?

Check all connections mate, including the ground. Also check the terminals on the sub box, and take the sub out and check inside the box too.

you need to check RCA's, headunit settings, and speaker wire.

he said the amp stays on. so its not an earth/power/remote issue ;)

well its a mono amp with 4 rca(i think) sockets but only got two in it but says to have 4

earth is ebst bet, however i buyed a cheap 2nd hand amp which randomly cut out, and basiccly the amp was ****ed, when the amp cuts out does the red auto protect light come on?

Does it not work at all? Or cuts on and off?

Do you have a mate who has a fully working sub and amp so you can go check it with his equipment? Just to make sure its not something to do with your amp ?

its totally gone, ive ran 6x9s thru amp n they work but, not the sub it was on for a day
then jus went off
