I have been in touch with the orgnisers here and we have the opportunity of a Club Stand at this Show.

I need to give a number for the size of the stand as soon as possible. If you are interested in showing your car please add your name to the post so that I can get numbers. I need you to be quick as I am to send an approximate number off to then This Week.

Prices are shown in the link, but could be cheaper, also I need to know if you are going to use the on site camping or are going to just turn in on the sunday.

The saturday basically is a run on the track for those that want to, and club arrival day. The Sunday is the big day for events and stands, traders and demos.

I will reveal:

The Fast Show
Sunday 3rd April 2005 - Santa Pod Raceway

Only £12 for three runs on the strip - Don't forget your driving licence.

The Fast Show is the first performance and modified car event of year at Santa Pod Raceway, so scrub the salt off your alloys, warm up your engine, and blast off down the ¼ mile!

Last year's event was jam-packed with great cars from all enthusiast groups, from Jap car clubs through to snarling Porsches, rare classics and Yank V8s. A real celebration of performance motoring and a great way to start the season!

Saturday - RWYB Public Track Day:

Run What Ya Brung open to all, incorporating The Fast Show test day and club arrival day. Bar open with evening entertainment and free camping for those staying over.

Sunday - The Fast Show:

All the action from The Fast Show, including: Run What Ya Brung Competition, Comedy, Pole Dancing, Jet car, Wheelie Car, Car Club displays, Page 3 Babes, Funfair, Free grandstand seats and parking, Sideshows, Trade village, The Autoglym Show Car Paddock, Jet Car and race-car demos.

The Run What Ya Brung Classes are:

A BMW, Rover, Volvo, MG
B Renault, Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat
C Ford
D Vauxhall/Opel
E VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda
F Jaguar, Lotus, Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, Caterham and AC

You need your gate pass for whenever you are there. Pre-ordering over the phone will save you a couple of quid.

Tickets are £15 on the gate for the Sunday when we are attending. They are £12 in advance (but aint much time to get advance tickets now).

It's £12 for 3 runs on the track if you wanted to on the Sunday payable when you get there. You need all parts of your driving license and mot (if applicable).

Right, for those not camping, I need your addresses. The car pass will be sent out 1s class ASAP. Those driving up on the Saturday will have to meet me for their car pass.

What time should we be planning to get there, if we are on the stand?
Earlier the better. I plan to get there for 7am ish of I get up earlier enough on the sunday morning.

Usually have to be in before like 8.30am latest as gates open to public at 9am usually but ka$h may be able to confirm details with me.

I'll have to phone in the morning about entry times as this is the response I got on an email :x

'If people are turning up on the Saturday they will put their cars in the general camping area. On Sunday morning they will need to have their car passes on show (these will be sent out soon), these will allow everyone onto the Club Stand area. I'm not sure at what time you are allowed to go onto your stand, though not too early so that you wake people up'

Right cleared this post up the best i could...

Can people please confirm to Ka$h asap if you are attending as we need to get numbers sorted.

People only attending on sunday really need to get hold of kash to get your car passes or unfortunatly you will not be able to show.

Can believe we had a list of 30 and now only 13 have confirmed :mad:

Lucky gits, the lot of you. After a detour to Andy Roo's place (Cheers mate :thumbs:) and then a closed junction which added another 15-20 mins on, I got home at 22:04 which I have to admit was a good time as my GPS from Scunthorpe said 22:45 arrival and I added 15-20 mins on so I got back quick really. That BP Ultimate certainly improves the top end performanc on the car mind over the optimax :o

Guys im sooooo monged after yesterday. Up at 630am and out all day with you guys then home and straight to work til 5am this morning, got woken up at 1030 by my brother and I feel sooooo ruff. Managed to get about half hours kip at work on a checkout and had a big barney with the engineers about something!!! Not good!!
