Hi, im new to the forum and would like some advice on audio. I would like to upgrade the soundsystem in my corsa and do not know where to start. I would like a system that sound good but with hopefully not with huge expense. What would you reccomend doing first , head unit, new components in the front, 6x9, sub?
Any advice, or recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

My advice would be to get a decent head unit, then the components, save up for decent amp/s and sub/s

ok, would this improve the proformance or the sound, or just enable me to add an amp, sub and other speakers. What head unit would you suggest, i like the look of the ones with the fold out screens. I was looking to spend around £150 on a standard one, maybe more if it had a screen. If i was to get a standard hu what speaker/amp would you suggest to get with it?

Judging by their internet homepage (http://www.venturer.com/) and it's lack of useful information of the product I'm thinking they don't want your money, let alone earn it.

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-cde9850ri-ipod-full-speed-p-4679.html It has iPod functionality as well if that floats your boat.
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/kenwood-kdcw6537u-pack-p-5827.html Has USB support if you prefer music off of a different kind of MP3 player or storage device.
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-cde9881rb-p-5680.html This is from the 2007 Alpine range and is astheticallly better looking IMO.

What's you budget for the rest of the system then, if you don't mind me asking?

i like the look of the 2007 alpine hu, and would buy the ipod connector for it aswell. If i was to purchase tis Hu what would you reccomend to buy next, components? if so could you reccoment any.
