Your better off getting pioneers for £40, they can handle more power and do sound good.

i dont think it realy matters if you have mix and match car audio, Iv heard alot of car with different head units and different amps and sub etc.......they all sound good as long as the wiring and tuning is done proper. Obviously in theory the more you spend on quality products the better the sound. What sort of budget do you have.........ther are alot of offers on the net!

consider getting 2 JBL 1202Ds

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jbl-gto-1202d-p-4235.html

and powering them using this -

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jbl-gto-1202d-p-4235.html

All you'll need is the wiring and dual sub box.

However, for the alpines you could use this - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/pioneer-gm5300t-p-5595.html
I.m not sure you'd want to do that though, cus for 200 (same cost) the jbls will be alot more powerful.

Mixing brands causes no problems. The only thing you have to look out for is the reliability of the figures that different manufacturers put on their gear - Vibe over-rate, RE under-rate.
If you're happy to mix and match your going to get a better system because you can choose the best possible kit for the price.

What's your total budget for sub and amp then? Easier to find a good setup when the budget is set.

well less then, i have £400 that i can spend on my car so subs and amp come first and what ever is left will go on other stuff for the C

Why do you need 2 subs? Why don't you just spend more on single sub and get a better one?

i dont mind i though if you had to therwe would be more push so it would sound better

As Clellandmc said, buy one and spend more on it will be nicer, less wiring for you.

Not necessarily. Are you going for SPL or SQL?
