tbh mutant doesnt get a good review on here, and a mate of a mte has it and gets bullied as his mums panda speakers are better!
maybe look for jbl, or some stuff on ebay?
well ive got a budget of about £130 so if anyone would care to reccommend another package on that site?

Steer clear of Mutant. I'd go for the first link in drainedsoul's post. What a bargain package! I love those JBLs for the money.
spend a little more and go for a vibe cbr

I'm glad you agree Jacko :)
iv got it and it works perfectly for me? i depends on what you want it for, all i wanted was something to take the strain off the standard speekers.
mine packed up after 6 months, now got a full sony system over £500 quids worth but that isnt very much compared to what is out there but its lasted over a year and you can definatley tell the difference in quality its certinatley the case that you get wat u pay for
im thinking of going for the anniversary one... im not sure though

Go for it!! You will NOT be disappointed, I can virtually guarantee it (as long as it's set up correctly lol) :D

whats the main diff between 10" and 12" and also what is the rca thingy that i need to run off of a high level output? or rear speaker cable?

Are you keeping the old h/u then?
If so, then http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/1233.html (http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/1233.html) is the one you want out of the two links i provided.
Looking at the manual, https://www.hci-services.com//tech_doc/documents/JBL/Car/Electronics/GTO/GTO%2075.2/Owner%27s%20Manual/19577_GTO75_2_Engelsk.pdf page 2, colomn 4, paragraph 2, it has the audio clean sweep built into it.
If your really considering doing this by snipping the rear spkr cables, can i suggest you go for a package involving the 75.4?
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/bass-pack-p-4277.html
If you snip the cables, you'll only have one rear speaker. But if you went for the JBL 75.4, it'll give you 2 more channels after the first two are bridged (for your sub) to power up the rear speakers. it means you'll have to snip the cables as before, except you'll still have the rear channels (if these are important to you)

Good advice
basically im using the standard hu and was gonna use rear speaker output to run this, i need to know what cable i need for the rca thing or does it come in the kit?

Ok, reading the manual, it looks like it comes with a square connector plug for the high level inputs (speaker wires) to be connected. This will then be a replacement to the "rcas" that would normally be run from the h/u to the boot.
There is a seperate connection on the amp for this, so it wont be using the rcas in basic terms, (unless you wanted to daisy chain a second amp)
Final option is of course the clean sweep by JL, but i don't know how much that will cost, or anything about it.
I would take the JL route had some stuff in my old car, you wont be disapointed at all, could you save more money to invest on some better quality equipment
the difference really to put it simply is 10" is a more punchyer bass note and 12" is more of a deeper bass note so eg RnB main music buy 12" dance buy a 10" well its just what i feel would sound better but they sound good on both not saying its rubbish on one and good on the other just my oppinion hope that helps
