Steering Control Adaptors Now work :-) canbus

Got my steering controls working on the new canbus system works a dream if anyone wants info will be able to get it I got mine from a local car audio shop

I got it working on an alpine D310-RB DVD Headunit will work with any alpine with the 3.5mm jack, can get lock ons for sony, kenwood etc let me know what headunit you have I will see if I can get a compatible one, they are £60 for the canbus control block thingy and £5 for the headunit specific connection

ive got a alpine hu n i want just the steering wheel controls, ive already got the iso adaptor thing

well I bought my original adaptors from vauxhall which comes with an anetenna adaptor thing so iv just unplugged the vauxhall one but left it behind the glove box for the arieal adaptor and plugged the new ones in but you cant just get the steering adaptors its the whole thing in one

ive got an alpine 9835r (american version) will i be able to get my steering wheel controls to work?

i was told i cant by my alpine dealer cos it was american:(

mine are arriving tomorrow after a bit of chatting to the tech guys at that website!

Cant wait, have put of getting an aftermarket hu till now because i didnt want to lose the controls!

I would just like to say that i have installed the above parts this lunchtime and it all works! The buttonswork in a slightly different way but thats about it!

steering adaptors are expensive for any car its just one of those things I had it in my old C think that was only 45 but in the new one its only just come out sort of thing
