View Full Version : Best sound
Alright peeps. I have an Kenwood Hu and i am looking at upgrading the speakers. I have heard that amped components along with a sub and amp will be the best way forward. Can anyone give me some examples of a good setup and how much it would cost?
Thanks

Well i could always do it in stages. I listen to anything from r&b to dance, house etc.
How much are components - 70-100??
I dunno, couple of hundred.
What do i need to spend to get a "good" system?
stuff fluctuates in price, there were some blaupunkt comps and amp set for £120 on car audio direct but i bet that deal has finished.
make sure you amp the comps tho

My idea of a good system:
Comps: £170
Comps Amp: £200
Sub: £200
Sub Amp: £250
Sound deadening: £100
Wiring and Installation: £80
But it's all down to what you mean by good.

a GOOD system is going to be around £2000 inc wiring and sound deadening
but im sure if u shop around with an egar eye ur get a 'good' system for 1.5k matey , failing that just go good comps and amps and half decent sub, after all its the words that make the songs
