how much better would it sound?

at the mo ive got 2 10" alpine subs running off my original head unit, also got all new gear in the front door panels. will it sound that much better with a new head unit because im pretty pleased with the way it sounds already. thanks

yeah, a good headunit would alow you to customize the sound alot more!

Wait you power your subs with HU only, like 20 W RMS or so?

no he means the amps are run off the standard HU

itll make a big differents, stronger RCA signals and means you can customise the whole system alot more - bass levels, front and rear levels, trebble and mid range

Depends on the unit you get - you get a sub £100 one and the difference will not be large, you fork out for a top quality one and the difference will be obvious.

get an alpine for somewhere around £200ish! good quality sound, looks cool and easy to change sound settings! i just got one and it improved my sound system sooo much i actually couldn't believe it!
