How can i power my car amp?
I have a 13.5 volt transformer, its 50hz, and its 1000mA
But this cant seem to handle the current draw.
Any better idea's?

1000 milli amps = 1 amp . thats your problem mate. it cant produce enough current to power it . id see if you could buy a 230v to 12v transformer. then wire it to that

Loads of people have tried it on Talk Audio. I can't remember the transformer but there is a really good one for between £100 and £200.
If you are only trying to test the gear, a computer PSU will work.

Ah awesome, i have an old PSU for a computer up my attick, will try that later.

or you could run it from a caar battery, and have the battery "charging" from the mains :shrug:
