Best Battery To Get

while i be buying my new gear soon etc all alpine etc have flip out screen and my tv tuner and iam woried that the standard vauxhall battery will drain down when the car is not running and the tv is on say for instance my gf watching tv while iam cleaning my car at show need a heavy duty one a special battery heard about these yellow batterys or something can someone help me out and point me in the right direction!!!

Coops likes his Bosch Silver Top. Optima yellow top will not work for a replacement though - deep-cycle batteries are not good at cranking.

direct replacement for extra battery power more than the standard vauxhall battery that i got, and no lads the tv wont be on for 1 hour :lol:

Yup my Silver Top is doing pretty well at the moment with 280 amps worth of power being sucked from it :lol:

They can take a right good hammering...until they become unable to hold a charge lol.

this is what i use and i have 5 screens, 2 amps, dvd player etc and it copes fine.

Yeah the VX battery was 'ok'. As long as you had the engine running, mine was terrible once the engine was off :(

same here, ive had to jump start 2times, and ive only got a headunit and 6x9s. abet the battery lasts 10mins with the radio on and the engine off, its pathetic!

the vauxhall one is a delco they are a good batt and should do the job

yeah once i left my music on in the car on a medium vvolume then went away and 5 hours later it was still going and the car started fine dont underestimate the vx battery
