TomTom Go 510/710/910. Bluetooth works like a charm, however, the mount they use to hold the sat nav is a load of crap (I use a bit of blu-tack to keep mine stable). The previous one for th 300/500/700 worked like a charm but doesn't fit the new ones.

Choose the 710 if you plan on going to Europe (510 Europe maps are useless). Just make sure to get your map updated (for free) by TomTom as most of the ones out there are using old maps.

You could get the 910 (like I did) but the US/Canada maps are absolutely useless.

yes road angels and radar detectors are supposedly getting banned, but with tom toms you can add points of interest aka speedcameras.

id be interested to know how they are going to tell who is using what.

but tomtom one v2... works fine for me.

camera detectors used to be illegal but were made legal so are they changing there mind
they are using a lot more average speed cameras now anyway so you cant speed

are they not banning satnavs with speed camera detectors in the coming months?

nope, there only banning detectors like road angels etc. if they work off a database like sat navs do then there totally legal.

But there are sad groups around the UK trying to ban sat navs due to the fact that it displays a moving image infront of the driver so they're classing it as "driving without due care and attention."
