ive got a set of team dynamics phantoms 17" and i want to lower my car bt the cap between tyres and arch looks a little to small would i need to do any arch work

what offset are your wheels? do you have a kit fitted?

no kit dont no the offset all i no is 205/40/17

no kit dont no the offset all i no is 205/40/17thats just your tyre size on the back of the wheel it should have stamped something like 7j et 40 the number after the et part is the offset of your wheels

as paul said, the offset should be stamped inside the rim. where did u buy the wheels?

if they're a close offset like et45 then you should be fine lowered -40mm with no arch mods.
