Multichanger Problems

I've got a Sony CDXT70MX (MP3) multichanger and having some trouble playing cd's.

It's 6 discs, discs 1, 2 & 5 play fine, discs 3 & 4 will play random tracks on the disc. At first I thought it was the discs, so I made new ones but they were just the same. I've played the discs in the main HU and had no problems at all.

A mate reckons it could be the magazine, but I can't see how as only 2 discs playing up.

Does anyone have any ideas or know if you can buy the magazine seperately in case it is that?

I've had it nearly a year. My car was broken into in october, the HU was taken (I foolishly left it in overnight) but they left the changer, I took that out so it couldn't be taken and only recently had it refitted.
