The 0-60 time is incorrect. It kills a Mini Cooper 1.6 in a straight line and thats quoted at 8.8 :)

Well its generally accepted that the 0-60 time is more like 8-8.5 secs
and its quicker 50-70 than a BMW 330i
yer really torquey in the mid range, with some nice rims and lowering + a debage and grill change it would look nice
Car looks great mate. You definetly wont be disappointed, I been rolling around at 60mpg in the Beeza (with sensible driving lol) 30-70 quicker than a 197

My GF likes it 10x better than the Corsa she sed the seats were uncomfy and it felt unsafe over 60mph... plus it took a week to get there :lol:

- Insurance company has blacklisted them
- Put money into savings since I'll only be using the car for 8 months.

Well my Dad got hold of this one through his mate who owns a Garage. Its black as you can see, 2 owners (1 was garage as a demo car, 2nd was a vicar), its only done 27k, full service history and its in mint condition. Cost me 7.5k but it does need two new tyres on the back soon and its due a service.
Road tax is £115 p/a and insurance in my name will be £1250 p/a fully comp 12 month policy with admiral as of 7th of october :thumbs:

What happens is, they put on certain requirements that the policyholder must meet. I think for me it was:
- 22 years upwards
- Minimum 2 years NCB
- + something else, which I forget.
This is due to a 'disproportionate number of accidents in said car'. :look:

Hi all sorry I have just driven it down to West Wales 90 miles there and back and its a hoot. So quick and so comfortable. Some mong in a 1.4 Escort tried to have me :lol: Put my foot down in 4th and left him a dirty great cloud of soot
Skoda don't make a 3 door Fabia.
Had a go in my mates re mapped one of these the other day, mental car, hes taken the VRS badge off the back an is looking for the normal one.
Fastest derv ive been in an having 6 gears was interesting

Here are some better pics as promised.
I gave it a 3 hour wash, clay, polish and wax about 4 days ago using Meguirs quick clay, Autoglym SRP and Meguirs Caranuba Wax.
I've added a smaller black aeriel, vRS tax disc holder and uprated headlight bulbs. I plan to get a pipercross panel filter, SEAT Strut Brace and PD160 intake soon, and maybe a cupra r front splitter.
It's just had some Toyo T1-R's fitted to replace the crappy Michelin Pilots that were on there before.

Not that many as yet but a few companies are working on bits and bobs - mainly power increasing stuff tho and some subtle styling stuff like eyebrows, lip spoilers etc

As the vRS has been re tuned its a bit faster and torquier (sp)
pd160 is from a Seat - Cant remember which!
You can get handle covers or (like I will) just get a bodyshop to c/c them ;)

I would love to mate but unfortunatly the 130 engine is a very tall engine and the sump sits quite low and you really don't wanna be catching that.... I plan to lower 25mm on Eibach springs and Koni Dampers one day which will be for handling more than anything else

The same engine can be found in the Audi A3, Golf GT TDI and Seat Ibiza Sport / FR.
I looked the Golf but they are just crappy mid-spec models and look quite boring. Also I know some people who have driven them and say the vRS feels faster. Also £600 more on insurance! The Ibiza (which I orginally intended on getting) is a tiny bit quicker as its lighter and is slightly cheaper on insurance.. however the looks never grew on me I prefer the boxy euro-style of the Fabia, and the interior of the Ibiza is bordering on French levels of quality.
The uncoded handles are a bit gay I agree, I bought some chrome covers but they look tacky so sold them. You don't really notice any difference on a black vRS.. I believe the very last batch came with coded door handles. No... mine does not have the HID upgrade.. I was looking for one with it but they all had high miles or were stupidly priced. Got mine for a very good price so I won't complain.
