Right guys, you ask what we are doing there, well here I have a list, and some times to go with it.

11:00 Arrive and set-up
11:30 Clean-Polish etc
12:00 Black Vs Silver Quasar Shoot out
12:30 Cardboard modding comp
13:00 Staff Vs Members Bowling
13:30 Monthly Feature Car/Car of the Meet Judging/Lunch (1Hr)
14:00 How many in a C Comp
14:30 Winners Prizes
15:00 Photos, & Goodbyes

I have spoken to the Editor of Total Vauxhall Magazine and he was waiting for this. He now has a copy as I have emailed it to him so they are in attendance.

I have sent PM's out to all Silver/Black Owners asking for their attendance in the shhotout. This will cost you £3 for a 1 round showdown to sort out which is the 'new' black.

This leaves 2 things outstanding. One for me and one for you's guys.

1) We (Me, Si & Noony) are going to take you's on at bowling. Top score wins, best 3 scores vs club staff scores are the winners. Prizes for those too. This will be based over a two game challenge which will cost £8.50 per person. I know it's not cheap, but come on, see if you can get one over us :D

2) Cardboard. I need 3 pretty standard cars and plenty of card. I will provide masking tape and markers for the mods, if you use your initiative and bring along other 'accessories' then you stand more chance of winning. The 3 cars will be modded by teams and you will only have 10 mins to 'transform' the cars. Pics and prizes here too.

If you want to challenge us or offer your car for the 'ultimate' mod then PM me immediately with details and we can sort this out.

U can use my car if u want - tis pretty standard, and silver, so will win.

As long as nothing gets damaged - i think maybe we shud reach agreement that if ne1 causes damage they shud have to pay to get it put right, i'd expect to do this if i nacked sum1 elses car tbh.

What about team sizes? 5 seems like a good number to me

how r we picking teams? names in a hat, or volunteers?

Right, nioce one sicky, we have one, two more needed.

Fair comment that about damage mate. All damages are to be paid for by the heavy handed buffon that breaks anything. Fair deal? I think so.

5 in a team, I think my budget can stretch to that on the prize front. No more tho, and as for how, well volunteers first and if too many then a hat. If not enough, smaller teams and volunteered people!

You've just made me think about one more thing, we need two volunteers for the car cram. Please someone with an empty boot (no amps or subs) please.

er... i own a black corsa and i haven't been pm'd... half an hour for cleaning and polishing? :lol: takes me at least 3 hours to do a "average" job!!! :oops: :shock:

^^ That is not a 1hr gap?? but it says 1hrs for lunch.

Also have you booked the quaser and bowling to ensure spaces??

Cheers for the thanks guys, it's been doing my head in for weeks. corsaboy1, nice to see it'll be nice n Sunday as we have had hail, rain and sunshine here today.

as for the timetable, there is a bit of flexibility in this one and people want to wander off and eat earlier/later for longer or shorter, then feel free.

It is just there to give us some shape to the day rather than have 50-60 people standing around in a car park waiting for something to happen, and attracting unwanted attention.

Speaking of unwanted attention, could I please remind everybody this is a fun day out, and we all work hard to get our cars looking as good as they do. Please dont put a black mark on the day by doing something stupid which might 'bend' your car or attract the law. The last thing we want is 30 peeps getting collared for illegal plates/tints etc

Lets have some fun and get some good pics.

Finally, speaking of pics, I have spoken to the photographer from Total Vauxhall today who will Definitely be there on Sunday, so lets make it look good and get ourselves in the national mags :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Also, a quick change to schedule, Black vs Silver is not at 2:30 as that's the only slot they had left, therefore Cardboard modding is now at 12:00 and Staff vs Memebers bowling is at 12:30!
