Depends mate. 12s will give tighter bass. 15s for deep low down car shaking bass!!

If you really want to scare some people, sell your 15in L7 and get a 12in RE XXX and throw as much power as you can at it.

Will go louder than the L7 simply because its thermal handling is higher...and its BL is nuts

For a XXX you will want to be throwing more than 1kw at it.
If you have less than that, get a SX.

Email this guy:

They distribute RE in the UK.

The prices are here on the distro's site.

NB: RE MT is for comp use only. Sounds like absolute **** with music playing through it

Listen to this guy the XXX are amazing. If you want a real rumble just get 2 RE SE 10's and they will out perform the kicker. And then you wont have a halfords install. You need a big amp like a us amps or a hifonics

yeh the audiobahn alum12q is a mean sub, was goin to get that till i heard the L7 in my mates car, but gettin mighty powerful subs , i jus realised there aint no point cos u aint gona use all the power cos its 2 much lol, i tink my l7 is more than enuff for a corsa but who knows? but if i do get anova sub it wud have 2 b a RE sub

Re are very good, but L7's aint far behind, if u hav heard 2 12"'s or 2 15" l7's then u can see how powerful they reli r. 1 12"or 15" r loud havin 2 can compete wiv the very best

a single re would out perform 2 kickers

Single XXX with 1500wrms would be louder than 2x L7s with 750wrms each.

L7s have the XXX on cone area, but XXX has it in XBL^2 technology

It's completely up to you - to you want good quality, deep bass that hits every note on time. Or do you want your car shaking to pieces with the loudest db output imaginable ??

I've got an L7 (2ohm) 15", 6x9's on an acoustic shelf, and standard fronts (for the time being) - crossover set on the h/u so that anything under 150Hz for the front and 120Hz for the back is filtered out and sent to the sub.

Perfect at low volumes but can really chuck out the notes when it needs to.
